Saudi Aramco extends tank farm bid deadline

Saudi Aramco has extended the deadline for bids on the project for the establishment of a tank farm in Duba, Tabouk province. The deadline for submitting bids for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) has been extended to 11 June. 

Contractors prequalified to bid for the estimated $400m project are understood to include:  Arkad (Saudi Arabia); China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau (China); Dodsal (UAE); Dutco McConnell Dowell (UAE); Enppi (Egypt); Gulf Consolidated Contractors (Saudi Arabia); JGC (Japan); Joannou & Paraskevaides (J&P; Cyprus); Larsen & Toubro (India); Nesma & Partners (Saudi Arabia); Punj Lloyd (India); Saipem (Italy); Tekfen (Turkey)

The scope of the project includes storage tanks, loading and unloading facilities, pumps, modification works and associated facilities. Saudi Aramco has also tendered a second package to install a pipeline connecting Tabouk bulk plant to Duba bulk plant. Companies have also been given a deadline of 11 June to submit EPC bids.
